This policy explains which items can and cannot be returned, how to report a problem with your order, and how refunds or replacements are handled. Because our products are research materials, product integrity and safety come first.

For safety and product integrity, opened or temperature-sensitive research materials cannot be returned. We do resolve orders that arrive damaged, incorrect, or defective.

1. Overview

Our products are research materials whose quality depends on controlled handling and storage. Once an item leaves our custody or is opened, we cannot verify its integrity for resale. For that reason, most items are non-returnable, with the specific exceptions set out below.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Any product that has been opened, used, or reconstituted
  • Temperature-sensitive materials once they have left our facility
  • Items returned without prior authorization from us
  • Orders where the buyer provided an incorrect or undeliverable address

3. When We Will Make It Right

We will offer a replacement or refund where:

  • The item arrived damaged in transit
  • You received the wrong item
  • The item is defective on arrival

Claims must be reported within [X days] of delivery, with your order number and supporting photographs where relevant.

4. How to Start a Claim

Email info@sovereignsequences.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Do not send any item back until we have confirmed your claim and provided a return authorization. Unauthorized returns cannot be processed.

5. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within [X business days] of approval. The time for funds to appear depends on your payment provider. Original shipping costs are non-refundable except where the error was ours. A restocking fee of [X% or “none”] may apply to authorized returns of unopened items.

6. Order Cancellations

You may request cancellation before your order has been dispatched. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and is subject to this Returns Policy. To request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible with your order number.
